A Master Degree is a high level post-graduate scientific programme. The Master involve the acquisition of at least 60 university learning credits (ECTS) . The 2° level Master’s Degree is a post-graduate qualification and it is a flexible university programme in which competences and knowledge from different areas interact to respond to the need for new professional figures and new specialisations. Learn the correct periodontal flow and know how to distinguish the various phases of the treatment
To understand how to perform non-surgical therapy and how to prepare the patient for the subsequent surgical phases and for maintaining the results obtained.

For access to the 2nd level Master Programs is required a title awarded upon graduation from dental school to become a General Dentist after a course of university studies of at least 5 years and being in possession of the professional qualification in the country of origin. The second level Master’s Degree represents from a classification point of view a course of study of the third cycle of the Bologna process / Level 8 EQF. The learning outcomes relevant to Level 8 are the knowledge at the most advanced frontier of a field of work or study and at the interface between field.
The periodontology is the specialty of dentistry that studies hard and soft tissues supporting teeth, as well as diseases and conditions that affect them. The clinical periodontology studies the diagnosis, the prognosis and the treatment of all kind of inflammatory pathology affecting the periodontium, which includes the gingiva (gums), alveolar bone, cementum, and the periodontal ligament. The aim of this Master program is to improve the knowledge of clinical periodontology in dentists who want to study in deep this subject performing diagnosis, prognosis and treatment according to the evidence base dentistry and the clinical experience of tutors.
